Go to the website below. I use it all the time for different recipes and ideas and actually have signed up for the free cookbook magazines they send out month. It's a great book with so many more recipes in it. Did I mention they were free?

Maccaroni and cheese (you can do a lot with this). You can mix tuna and half a can of mushroom soup into it and you have tuna casserole. You can mix in half a jar of salsa to make it 'Mexican'. You can brown sausage links and mix those in. It's a pretty versitile food.

Chicken fried steak. Get some cube steak and coat it in flour. Brown it in a little butter or oil. Take the meat out of the pan and sprinkle flour into the drippings (about 4 table spoons). Brown the flour...add some milk and stir on med. heat until it's thick. Add salt and pepper to taste. Then serve the meat with with mashed potatoes and pour the gravy over both. You can have a vegetable with it too.

Grilled cheese and tater tots or soup are cheap for lunch. Ramen noodles...hot dogs.

Hamburger bun pizza. I know it SOUNDS nasty but it's really not bad. Get a pack of buns, a pack of mozzarella, some pepperoni and some pizza sauce. Open the buns, spread the sauce on each half, put on the pepperoni and cheese and bake until the cheese is melted.

Breakfast you can do cheap cheese omlets, french toast is easy and cheap, or even egg sandwiches.

First, get a crock pot. Then, it's easy, fast and cheap

I put vegetable or chicken broth in the slow cooker and then throw in lentils (cheap), rice, whatever vegetables I have laying around, and some spices and then put the crockpot on and go to work. When I get home, dinner is ready and hot. (or make it at night and go to bed, it will be ready when you wake up). Look up crockpot recipes online, there are millions and you can make things easily and cheaply and it's healthy too.

"Pigs in a Blanket" - hot dogs cut in half and wrapped up in crescent rolls. You can even add sliced cheese inside. Kids really like them; many grown ups do too.

1 pack inexpensive hot dogs
2 packs inexpensive crescent rolls (the kind in the can - refrigerated)
