I've never heard of anyone doing it, but I don't see why you couldn't use it. Your lasagna would certainly be "richer" in taste, so you might want to serve smaller portion sizes.

Actually, I think I might just try putting cream cheese in some lasagna myself. If anybody's ever tried it, let me know how it worked.

Well I wouldn't but you can...I like cream cheese...but it doesn't sound good in lasagna....Is it to replace the ricotta????? If it is I used cottage cheese last time I made lasagna...I put the cottage cheese in the blender and it turned out perfect...... Good luck !!!

it can but there's really no point because it will melt once you bake the lasgna in the oven. you can mix it with cottage or ricotto cheese so it melts and gets mixed in with the other cheese's flavour.
