Well, if you've made it open or obvious that you feel this way and he doesn't respond the way you've hoped, you need to move on. But, if you approached him in a bold way, you may have scared him a bit and need to back off at least for now, and try first to be his friend, and then let it grow.

Forget about it. If he doesn't want it, you can't make him. If you somehow try to trick or coerce him, he will just resent you for it. Go find someone who is interested in you too.
