I agree with what several here have already said, that likewise my focus isn't on any human no matter how long or to how many people they've been preaching the Bible. My focus is on Christ first and foremost. If what is being proclaimed in the name of Christ does not gibe with the Bible, I stop listening.
With regard to Haggard, I just posted an entry on my blog about him. Check it out at the link below.

True Christians are to be followers of Christ, not man. I have seen Pastor Haggard on Christian television before, and I am a bit shocked that he might actually be involved in something like this, but you must realize that if these allegations are true, it does not mean that any Christian who may have followed him as a pastor, should feel foolish for having done so. Not does it mean that All Christians are hypocrites and liars. On Judgement Day, everyone will stand before God, and give an account of their lives.
As the bible says, God will separate the sheep from the goats.
That basically means that he will weed out the hypocrites from his true followers. So we are not to judge others. I hope I made my point clear.

And you have evidence of this?
It is an allegation. Come back with your question when this has been proven by the Church Board that employs him. Until then, what is your point? That a man is guilty based on the flimsiest rumor? Have you ever thought of giving the man the benefit of the doubt and that this may be a set-up because he is so vocal and adamant against gay marriage?
I am NOT an Evangelical nor a Ted Haggard fan but a decent enough Christian not to pre-judge.

I agree with my Christian brothers and sisters. I didn't receive Biblical training from Mr. Haggard. Even if I had, what he did won't shake my faith. I am a Christian, a follower of Christ and His teaching. The Bible is my standard, not Mr. Haggard.
Your question seems uninformed. You should go to Mr. Haggard's former church's website and see his response to the accusations.

Why should they? As John Milton wrote in his masterpiece, _Paradise Lost_ (Bk III, 682-4):
For neither Man nor Angel can discern
Hypocrisy, the only evil that walks
Invisible, except to God alone.

Read the Bible. Among other thing, it's about long list of men who have messed up bad. The "heros", Aberham, Moses, David, Job, Samson, and on and on, realize they have done wrong by God, repent, and go on and do great things. The real message of the Bible is, "we mess up - God still loves us" - a lot!.

Just proves that homophobes are trying to cover their own tracks, when they protest too much too often it should make you suspicious from now on.
