Tiffany: when you told him to p*** off , did you do it in front of others? If you have, you embarrassed the poor guy. This is a no-no ... no guy nor girl should bad-mouth anyone in front of others.
Yes; you made a dumb mistake ( we all say and do dumb things at times) due to a lack of thinking before speaking. The onus is on YOU to apologize and make amends. Send him a small Teddy Bear with an "I'm Sorry" note pinned onto it. (You might list your telephone number and ask him to call you). Isn't it strange that we seem to hurt the one we really love ? Remember; you have to be sincere with him. I'm a guy, and when I got hurt from any girl by a bad off-the-cuff comment - it shattered me. ( Maybe an ego thing - I guess) . Learn from this lesson and all the very best to you !

He is probable a fun guy and didn't know he was (or mean to) hurting your feelings. Get in his face when you can get him alone and tear him up one side and then down the other. Then laugh your *** off while he looks confused, then you two can move on on even ground.

You win some and you lose some. Now you know that you shouldn't use other people as messengers and you shouldn't be rude.

You can try sending him an email/text message or calling him. But if he doesn't respond there's nothing you can do.

Ouch... don't have your friend do what you need to do yourself.

If you are truly sorry, go see him, apologize in a private place and see if you can ask him if you can 'start over'.

Maybe go for a walk and invest some one-on-one time... see how it goes from there.
