In a sense most morals (christian or not) are unnatural because it's human nature to want to have sex with anyone we're attracted to, any time or place, to want to strangle someone who makes us really mad, to take whatever we want, no matter who has it, and things like that. In another sense, though, some morals are kind of natural, like helping and giving to those less fortunate, protecting our children from harm, etc. Good question, my answer is both yes and no.

Yes...our moral standards are not natural...they are a higher standard, but we are given indwelling by the Holy Spirit so that we can, through the power of God, keep to those unnatural moral standards that God wants us to have....those standards that are representative of Him...and His higher nature.

Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you

christian morals are what most humans have already deep inside them! And if you're focusing on the one about waiting until you're married to have sex then it makes the relationship alot more special and private to be commited to 1 person, rather then to have shagged around! So no christian morals aren't unatural!

Yes they are unnatural for us becasue we have a fallen, sinful nature from Adam and from our own bad behavior. That is why John 3:3 says you must be born again. We need God to revive our dead spirits so we can truly understand his word and he fills us with his Holy Spirit so we can obey him.

in a sense....cause it's in our nature to be lawbreakers.....but, we tend to want justice when we are offended. A preacher once asked with so many churches in America why are there so many sinners around? Another preacher replied I can answer that but, it's with a question. With so much soap in america....why do people still get dirty? The Christwalk.....it's a daily thing and there are no SUPER Christians.

They are unnatural to the extent that they are in general opposite of what our bodys want us to do and be.

Christian Morals says one wife, body says "every available woman or man"

Christian Morals says "Love" and "Serve" and our body says "hate, kill and ME FIRST!"

Good question. Yes! "the natural man is an enemy to God". If you followed every little thought feeling or impulse where would you be? Christian morals go against what we may want to do deep down because they are wrong and selfish. That's part of believing on god is all about, Self Control.
