How does one become a born again pagan?

By taking a close look at yourself. What do you believe? Do you feel connections with nature and others in the world around you?

Do lots of research on pagan religions. (there are many) Find people of like mind, and have a good support group. Read books, talk to other pagans, search on the net. Question everything!!!

One author I recomend for Wicca is Scott Cunningham. in the new age section at a bookstore will have many books on pagan related subjects.

Well, if you started out with a different religion, then discovered a specific form of paganism and realized it defined you better, and changed your religious affiliation by how you label yourself - I suppose that's really all it takes to be a "born-again pagan". Of course as with any belief system you'll want to read about it, educate yourself, and practice what you believe. There are self-dedication rites in all pagan traditions and joining or belonging to a group is purely optional. Some traditions may offer an initiation or baptism ritual. It really depends on the pagan tradition you're looking at and whether or not you choose to work with a group or solitary.

would think real hard on steps 2 and 3 before taking step 1.
