hasn't seemed to hurt your typing any.. are you sure it's broken? and if it is.. hold your hand above your heart to reduce any swelling and make an appointment with a Orthopedic Physician to set it. The ER only stablizes broken bones, they do NOT set them in casts.. this is done after your ER visit an Ortho office. You may have trouble sleeping tonight, so take a tylenol PM. Use your other finger to change the channel on the TV.

By the way, how would you ever break your finger from watching tv? Never mind, not sure I want to know.....lol

stop watching tv and start doing something that doesn't require as much finger power
