Alcoholic drinks:
Amaretto Sour --- When I want to go for pure decadence!
2 ounces good-quality amaretto
1 ounces fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon superfine sugar
1/2 egg white
1 tablespoon, plus 1 teaspoon Chambord

Fill highball glass with ice cubes. In cocktail shaker filled with ice, add amaretto, lime juice, sugar, and egg white. Shake vigorously for about 10 seconds, then strain into highball. Slowly pour Chambord over back of a spoon into glass and serve.

Cranberry and Vodka --- When I want to feel a little healthy!

Tom Collins --- When I want to go Retro!
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoons superfine sugar
1 1/2 ounces (1 jigger) gin
club soda or seltzer water
1 lemon slice for garnish

In a tall glass stir together the lemon juice and the sugar until the sugar is dissolved, add the gin and enough ice cubes to fill the glass, and stir the drink well. Top off the drink with the club soda or the seltzer water, stir it well, and garnish it with the lemon slice.
