That is terrible. Sorry that you have to go through that. The best thing to do is get into a good church. Get support from them. If you're youth age, then a youth group would be great. I had a good family life and I always feel terrible for the people who couldn't experience it. Just pray to God that he will get you through this and remember you're here on this earth for a very special reason even though it may not seem like it right now.

you know what honey, You are the best thing that ever happened to him and if he is so screwed up not to realize this than it is his loss. It really isn't about you he has problems. He needs help don't let his junk affect you. I know it is hard but sometimes we get used to abuse and that isn't OK. Don't let some one treat you bad not even your dad. Talk to someone in your family that you can trust or maybe a friend or a friends parent. There is always someone to help if you ask for help.

you just need to be strong, and go to him and ask why he hates you so much, i had this happening to my sisters and I growing up. I took it head on one day and wrote him a letter, Then sent it through the mail, i didn't dare had it to him, not knowing what mood he was in, it gave him time to read it, not expecting to have someone waiting in the other romm for an answer. In it I statted that I understand that he maybe going through somethings right now, that at my age i wouldn't understand. But i asked. "What did we do , to make you hate us so?" What ever it was i would try to change it, because him being my hero, and not loving us,hurt me more than anything, . i didn't know he read it,until he came and gave me a big hug, and held me while he cried. He had been going through somethings with my mom, and we were his children and he needed to suport us, and it was killing him, that he didn't know what to do. We are better now, altgough they are apart, it was my mother who left him.

I don't know what say but I know how you feel. my dad left before I was born I've seen him 3 times in my whole life and he barely sent Child support. You dad might be different he might have something problems and should probably see a shrink or have family counseling

There really isn't an easy solution to your problem. But I guess the best thing you could do is to ignore the mean things he says to you. Don't let what he says effect you in any way because it isn't true. Don't let your self esteem drop from someone who has a low one.

maybe he's under alot of stress at work or as your growing up, just wants you to be small again. haha. =] but, then again, he might be unhappy in his marriage. but don't EVER think he regrets the day you were born. if he truly loves and under stands you, he won't leave you and your family. hopefully, things will get better... just be patient. god bless you!

So sorry you are going through this. My ex walked out on me and our 3 kids. All that I can say is try try try to get him to seek help if too much stress is the issue. UNDERSTAND that it is not you or your siblings to blame here. And talk to people if YOU or your siblings need to talk. Realtime or even qualified online people. Global "friends" that I have never/will never meet have sure helped me through this. Hugs to you.
