I have a car that I would like to donate, but I don't know what is the best place to give them my car! I am looking for a place that will use the money more to help people than for administration purposes? thank you for your help.

The Salvation Army. From what I understand very little of monetary donations go to administration and when it does it's mostly because the congregation of the regional parish is too small to financially support everything.
Any items donated are used wisely or sold to the poor for a good price. A price that benefits the poor not the parish.

The National Kidney foundation takes used cars and is a highly reputable organization. Check out the attached site. The bulk of their money goes to research, but I believe it also goes to providing Dialysis Transportation for people who cannot get their on there own..

I've also included a website that shows charities that take cars by states, and shows what money goes to.

Contact a Rotary International Club in your area, most are involved in recycling cars and will give you a tax reciept for the car.
