Could you put them in the nursing home if their health was failing and you just did not have the time to care for them?

thats a tough question many of us will have to evenutally face...and our children will face with us. you'll know when its time....and so will they..Good luck

u could, but some pple tent to get ever more worst when they r just put in a nursing home. i don't know they probably feel like no one care for them. i would say leave them in their own surroundings, meaning get a nurse or 2. one in the day or one in the evening to take of them. it does not even have to be a nurse. mayb some house keeper u know. but remember it's really up to u. do what's more convenient for u. wish u luck.

You'll need the assistance of their doctor. The nursing homes are booked and they need to be "accepted" and referred. It's somewhat like a college entrance exam. Often times you see ads in the newspapers for "companions" or home health aides. Call the Senior Center in your area and ask to speak with a health care worker...they all have one.

Yes. Do it and don't feel guilty about it. Parents who are busy put their children in day care too. Visit her once a week, 2 or 3 weeks..

I think I would make some kind of arrangements with work to be able to take care of them myself.

look did your parents cared for you when you were sick . did they say that they dont have time to care for.listen no matter what you are doing nothin is important than family.

No. They never abondoned me, so I could never do that to them.
