How many cities have forests in them? There are trees in Tokyo, just as there are in most other cities (mostly in parks). If you want to know if Japan has any forests, the answer to that is yes, there are forests in Japan.

Assuming you mean Japan, rather than Tokyo... which is a large metropolitian city but not large enough to contain a forest... Japan is heavily forested due to centuries of aggressive forest management. It has some subtropical forests in its smaller islands, but most of its forests are temperate-zone. There are no "rain forests" in Japan.

I'm half-Japanese and go to Japan every summer. I don't want to make you sound stupid, but Tokyo is a city, not a jungle, forest, or rainforest. Yes, there are bushes and trees. But.... no forests. Good question though, I guess....
