Lets think of some easy things we can all do - starting from today - to be energy efficient.?

Today I bought some fresh herbs - to grow myslef - instead of dry ones - (Save packaging, and puts oxygen into my house, and saves money).

I have energy efficient lightbulbs,

I also tuck my curtains behind my radiators!!! ( this is a huge huge tip that makes a massive difference!)


What else - tell us what you do - lets all try and make 1 small change today! Together we can make a difference...

I got solar panels in my upstairs windows with a deep cycle battery. Probably won't save all that much but I try to use it everyday to recharge batteries, power my pc, etc... I always found solar energy fascinating.

Go outside. Quit playing on computers. Turn off lights. Use the grill instead of the oven. Hang clothes out to dry. Only wash full loads.Ride Motorcycles! Drink warm beer :) Sleep naked and snuggle for warmth. Don't flush all the time"if it's yellow let it mellow. If it's brown flush it down" Ever wonder how much electricity would be saved if everybody just turned off their TV one day a week? Oops, theat was a question not an answer.

Get token meters fitted for your gas and electric. You won't be able to afford to "waste" electricity then.

Its very admirable what you're doing. But I wonder how many of our great leaders are going to give up their nice big cars and huge expensive to heat houses and extravagant lifestyle plus their support for pollution-causing big business while they persist in trying to lay the blame for gloabl warming at the feet of the ordinary person.

Go back to basics. Why do we need so many gadgets? And let the Politicians, who make up these policies lead by example. How about it 3 Jags!!!!!
