It would have helped a great deal if you could give a source, I couldn't find one. But yes, it is fitting that it be directed for the Church.

"And they shall be Mine, says the Lord Almighty, in that day when I make up My jewels" (Mal. 3:17).

The Lord Jesus likens His Church unto "one pearl of great price," so that He "went and sold all that He had, and bought it" (Matt. 13:46).

"I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels" (Isaiah 61:10).

"You will be a glorious crown in the Lord’s hand, and a royal diadem in the palm of your God" (Isaiah 62:3).

The jewels in the crown are the good works God has prepared before hand.
We won't realize how many good works and what they are until we are in heaven.
