Josh S is correct. It IS on the top of the rear differential housing. All the other posts informing you it's on the transmission are INCORRECT. It is either a 10mm or 13mm bolt holding it in. Not an expensive part to purchase from the dealer. (Ford base part number 2L373)

I am a ford fleet truck mechanic, the speed sensor is on top of the differential on the right side of the driveshaft, it has 2 wires running from it and 1 small bolt holding it in place. good luck

The speed sensor should be located on the tailshaft of the transmission. The same spot where a speedometer cable would be on an older model truck.

Listen to me, It is on the rear end housing on your truck, very easy to replace. It is on the top of it and has 1 bolt holding it on, A 13 mm socket will remove it. It is NOTon the tailshaft housing

it really is going to be on the transmission,in route of the position the axle shafts go into it,it really is going to have 2 or 3 wires coming from it.purchase a guide which incorporates chiltons,on your automobile, and it really is going to furnish area of all sensors.
