I have been saved and yes I am a born again Christian and have Jesus in my heart, as my saviour and with me forever. Thank you for your beautiful statement, and prayers also go to you and your family. May God bless you for spreading his word.

You will know them by their fruit, amen. This is a better question than a lot of people realize."Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure;for if you do these things you will never fall;" 2 Peter 1:10. This certainly doesn't look good for the once saved always saved, but we are to give diligence to this matter. It's hard to fall from a place that you never was at.This scripture also encourages us to make sure we are saved.I like to call it born again;John 3:1-21.Many who were baptized as infants suffer today because that has been taken away as an infant. They were deprived of the opportunity to "repent and be baptized".Every Christian should have the fruit of the Spirit in some measure.Galatians 5:22-26

Jesus is a mythological confirm. All accessible evidence means that the jesus fantasy became made up by technique of a set of primitive men who had thoughts of historic myths already of their heads. in basic terms study pagan beginning of christ fantasy. different historic gods were born of virgins and rose from the useless on the third day also. there's no god or afterlife. If there's a god why doesn't he heal amputees? Their limbs not in any respect improve decrease back no count number how a lot they pray. it really is b/c god is imaginary. Why do undesirable issues take position to good human beings? B/c undesirable issues take position on an same statistical rates to everyone. God is imaginary. heavily the more effective you wreck down issues logically the a lot less in all chance you're to believe. i comprehend you don't want to hearken to that in spite of the indisputable fact that it must be suggested. And once you do not believe there's no reason to concern lack of existence. keep in mind the sensible words of Mark Twain, "i became useless for tens of millions of years till now i became born and did not go throughout the slightest inconvenience from it." surely, you received't comprehend you're useless so there is not something to be frightened of.

Honestly you seem to have answered your own question, and correctly for the most part.
Faith is not knowledge. It takes that leap to recognize that the gift of salvation is yours for the asking. I don't know in the factual literal sense that having done so was the right move. Life got no easier for me after having done so, or anything like that.
That said, I asked him in because his words during his lifetime said to do so. Faith in him was required before having done so.

Asking Jesus into you heart is fine and good, but evangelical slogans should not be confused with the essense of Christianity.
The phrase "ask Jesus into your heart" is not found in the Bible, but originates in a later, Protestant evangelism campaign. It is not definitive of what a Christian is either according to the Bible or according to Church history. A person is a Christian if he is baptized and professes the Christian faith.

Thanks!!! I ask JESUS to come into my heart especially when I am faced with ignorant people, and when I am faced with hardships, so that he can help to keep me Faithful and strong. I also ask him to come into my heart more and more when things are also going good, not just when things are going bad. I guess that you can infer that I ask him all the time, although I know that he is already in my heart!!!!!!!!

I asked Jesus into my heart by singing the song in church when growing up.
Come into my heart. Come into my heart. Come into my heart Lord Jesus. Come in to day, come in to stay, come into my heart Lord Jesus.
Singing is spiritual, so is asking In Spirit & in Truth (honest from my heart).

Not only is Jesus Lord of my heart. He is Lord of my life. He is Lord over all I have committed to Him.

Asking Jesus into your heart does not save you.
You are saved because Jesus died and rose from death in your place. PERIOD
You are going to heaven because of Jesus Christ not you asking, or accepting. These are works and I thought "evangelicals" were against the works righteousness bit.
So much of evangelicalism is so much like Catholicism it is amazing.
