i have a round head too(unlike my avatar) it gets pretty annoying. ehat works for me is i get it cut in layers that go from the chin or half neck down and have it not grow longer than 3/4 down my back so my layers would still look good. blonde-brown highlights are a pretty good choice too, just dont do them too thick or theyll make ur head look even more rounder:(also grown out bangs look good too) and pearl earings hide your roundness. i have natural semi straight semi wavy hair(mostly straight) and i love curly hair, but with layers i think straight hair looks better on a round head but curly hair is diff. than everyone's straight hair craze and looks pretty good, but if damaged then the curls would backfire into frizz balls.

Straight is defenitely the way to go. go for styles that will frame your face. but as for the chemical straightener i don't like when people are harsh with their hair try to blow dry it staight instead you will do your hair a service and you will like the texture more...

with a round face aaaaggggggggghh!!! lol (i havent got a round one lol) but they are like the most awkward head shape (sorry!!! very sorry!!!) umm curly hair is ok for it.. but cornrow is a good idea for it.. it you chemically starighten it and have information about your hair dying etc.. then its not a good look.. people with round head shapes need to think closely about hairstyles (my opinion.. i have a few cousins with round head shapes lol)

The japanese straight perm is pretty good, it keeps it straight, so I hear, I think you should make it straight. It's up to you though.
