Its going to last 6-7 hours, from Philly to Boston. I am 14 years old. I already know that I will watch DVDs on a portable. I don't really want to read, and I would only do this as a last resort. What variety of actvities could occupy me for 4 hours?

Anything visual like reading or movies may run the risk of motion sickness or some degree of headache or nausea. I would have audio back up material like music and audio books.

There's also conversation.

reading will give you a headache anyway -- reading in a car isn't recommended. do you have a portable game device? make your parents take you somewhere for a couple of used games you can get used games for 10-20 each.

listen to audio books. It may sound boring but if you can get any of the Harry Potter books on cd, the reader, Jim Dale is really good! I promise you it will keep you entertained.

Drink a lot of water, but it will make you go to the restroom a lot.. but listent to music is the best than sleeping in the care or tryingto read a book or anything like that..Take a lot of snack with you in the car.
