Don't worry everyone palys the fool at some point but many don't admit it! It sucks that you invested time in this person and even traveled to see her just for her to turn you down! I hope she did this tastefully. Did she indeed use you for something or take advantage of you?
It's hard when people do that to us but the only thing I can suggest is to guard yourself a little bit more carefully but not to the point where you are closed off from others or suspisious all the time.
Make sure that whatever woman you are involved with is earning your trust and good actions and is reciprocating as well. Realize that when you take risk, dissapointment and rejection could occur so prepare yourself for that. Good Luck!
Remember if you're a decent guy with honest and good intentions, you're bound to find someone..it's just a matter of waiting!

How'd she blow you off? Was it a complete "don't contact me anymore" thing or did she just say she wasn't ready to meet? It could be she needs to get to know you more, and if she was honest about that, I don't think she was trying to be mean. However, if she led you on that she definitely wanted to meet and then suddenly she doesn't, she's playing with you. When you say she is using you, what have you given her? If you give her a lot of time, listening to her problems, paying for long distance calls, giving her gifts, then cut back. Still be her friend if you think she needs more time, but do what you have to so that you don't feel used in the relationship. Don't let her pressure you and don't pressure her. Perhaps both of you need to define the relationship better so that both of you have the same expectations. Good luck!

Hey, you shouldn't just fell for an easy trap like this. Make friends in personal and don't believe in a strange person WHO chats with you and maybe tells you the wrong information about that, you never know when that person is fooling you. Try socializing with people outside and excersice, feel free in knowing other people the way you can really talk to them and know them...

Maybe she used someone else's picture or maybe she is to scared to commit to a relationship. If I wanted to know what was up I would just e-mail or call her ask for the truth. What do you have to lose? At least you never meet her,had sex, eventually was told she loved you, made plans to be with each other, moved ,then got blown off! That would be a fool!!!!!!!!!

With a screen name like deathbecomes me, you are destined to attract tragedy. Change your words and you'll change your life. Be more positive and you'll attract more positive people who want to take a long term interest in you.

Or she could be not the girl in the pic she gave you and she's trying to hide.
Internet dating produces odd results.

Maybe you should meet a girl in person rather than on the internet!
