The book of REVELATION is a beautiful writing of symbolism and prophecy. Don't miss the opportunity to learn more about the meaning behind the words. Take up a course on end times, the study of the book of Revelation or a New Testament Bible study. It's worth a closer look!

Hallucinogens were frequently used in those days by the Qumran community which John would probably been part of.
What makes you think that the book of Revelations would be less truthful if it were inspired by a hallucinogenic experience?
Ever heard of Peyote? look it up on a search engine.

In a way he was. He had a hallucination or vision as a result of an outside influence, in this case, the Holy Spirit. As a intelligent form of God's energy, it influenced the direction in which his visions, or hallucinations, took. If he had been under the influence of a drug, his writings would not have been so clear and pristine. Plus, remember, Revelations was not the last book he wrote, it was the first. Does the rest of his writings look like he was using drugs?

He was not...Check out Revelation, (not Revelations),
Chapter 1 verse 1-3 and verse 9-20.
A clear mind had to be used here because the future guidence of the true faith and incouragement had to be written down for God's chosen ones in the future.
Revelation 22: 12-17...Please read all.
Peace...

What proof I have is that you have no proof it did not happen like it was written and maintained unchanged for almost 2000 years. It is all by faith in God.
I am ready to stake my soul on the Bible teachings and live a happy Christian life rather than to do the things that are against my body. I know love and happiness and if I am mistaken and there is no life after death, I have had a happy life. I prefer to believe than to take the chance of not believing.

The Bible itself is proof. Jesus, the Faithful Witness, the holy spirit, God himself, all give witness to the truth of the Bible. Rev.1:1 says that this revelation was presented to John in signs.
Also, it fits with the rest of the Bible and if understood correctly is not all that trippy, but rather makes perfect sense.

John wrote the book of Revelation under the influence of the Holy Spirit how else could he have so accurately predicted all that has happened and is yet happening right under your nose ? and to ask such a question how do we know you are on some psychotropic substance yourself?

For the mere fact that some of his prophecies have come to pass is reason enough to believe he wasn't hallucinating.
