The prayers are what matters, although blessed objects like rosaries (sacramentals) are always useful.

I carry a rosary with me always, but for safety reasons, it stays in my pocket when I drive around in my car, even though I manage to pray a lot of rosaries while fighting traffic.

Why spend your time in siting words in which man created? Had Jesus not given us the prayor in which to say to the Father?

Tradition is the creation of man; it is the relationship through Jesus Christ that matters, not how many beads are on this rosary.

no. the beads are there to help you so you don't lose your place. i've said a rosary many times without an actual rosary.

We muslims have the takbir.... (like the rosary) when we do not have it we use our fingers to count!

I don't think so. There's even an online version of it I found once. On it, you just clicked on these "virtual beads" when you had said the prayer.

I've also heard you can just count with your fingers if that works for you.
