I wonder if my friend stole my credit card and didn't say anything at all and i checked the transaction she took it out on 10/28/06 at 8:52 am in where i live she firgured out my pin should i still file a police report i did call the credit card company they put a block on the card and reissuseing me a new card and a dispute forms for me to sign for that 302.00 dollars what should i do.

plus i did call the bank where she took it at and they don't do that i asked them. And I hope when i file this with the company and take my side.

I have reported it to credit company this morning they are sending me the things to get all started so they can dispute the that large amount that was taken.

Its unlikely they will credit your account unless you agree to cooperate in prosecuting your friend. If you are prepared to do that, you should proceed with your report. Very few people realize how much of their own time is involved in prosecuting a crime.

I had a friend steal my identity once. You should file a report immediately and let the police figure out if she is guilty. You should not have to bear the burden of her crime!! Also contact your credit card company and report that you think someone stole your card!!

What if she did not take it then what ? I would file a police report for sure and let the dice fall where they should.But i would not accuse anyone until then if it was used at a ATM then they will have a picture then you will no for sure.

If she withdrew the money from an ATM, there are bank cameras which will catch her since you know the time and date.
