good one, brent! carmen was tough as nails, & obviously capable of beating anyone on a given night. but i see trouble for him here. monzons reach advantage would allow him to pepper carmen as the smaller man tries to move in. and basilio would move in and make a great fight of it. monzons punches would eventually bust carmen up. i dont see him getting knocked out, but i do see the valiant warrior losing a u/d if cuts dont cause a tko in the late stages of the bout.

Wow Brent! I almost asked this question but i'm glad you did sir! Basillio was one of the gamest, toughest, determined fighters to ever lace up a pair of boxing gloves and good enough to beat Sugar Ray Robinson and lose a close fight with him. Monzon had that great jab, sledgehammer right hand and great chin. I believe that Basillio would fight very hard and would give Monzon quite a battle but Monzon would win a close fight mostly with that jab of his. Great question partner!
