I FEEL ONE IS BETTER IN MOST CASES TO MAKE BETTER DECISION AROUND THE AGE OF (18). HOWEVER THERE ARE SOME YOUNG PEOPLE AT AGE (17), THAT ARE VERY RESPONSIBLE. (18) IS A GOOD AGE TO START DATING BECAUSE IF YOU ARE A LADY YOU WILL HAVE TO BE STRONG ENOUGH TO SAY NO TO SEX UNTIL YOU ARE READY FOR IT. TRUST ME WHEN HE GETS READY FOR SEX IT WILL BECOME A BIG ISSUE. THERE ARE OTHER THINGS YOU WILL HAVE TO DEAL WITH ALSO. DATING CAN BE VERY STRESSFUL SO IF YOU ARE NOT DATING AND YOU ARE UNDER (18) WAIT YOU GOT TIME.

Personally, I think that you should be 16 before going on one on one dates. If you are doing the whole "group dating" thing.... I
say 14. There is just too much pressure on dating these days.
When you are a teen you have your whole life ahead of you.
It may not seem that way, but you do. You should really enjoy
yourself. Take the time to find out who YOU are without a boyfriend or girlfriend.
When you go off to college there are going to be so many people of the opposite sex and you aren't even gonna know what to do.

I think you should at LEAST be 16 before you start dating, any younger, and you don't know what you want in a person. You just date so that you can feel people out. If you're 16 (at least) you have somewhat of an idea of what you want in a guy (or girl), and you set some standards for yourself, so that you don't get yourself in a compromising situation! hope this helps!

Setting an age is ridiculous. Different people are at different places at different times in their lives. Saying all 15-year-olds are alike is about as absurd as saying all 30-year-olds are alike!
Before you go looking for other people to be romantically involved with, however, I think you should first be able to be entirely by yourself.
You're not looking for co-dependancy, after all, but someone to make you better. Before you can be better, you have to be something to begin with. YOU, instead of someone else. Which means being independant at the very least.
But that's my opinion. What's yours?
