As far as people who are colour blind are concerned, green does not actually exist, as the colour receptors in the back of their eyes cannot distinguish red or green - they see these as a browny colour. So in this respect, green is in the world, but is not technically a colour to a certain percentage of the population, so conversely, if green were not in the world, it may still be green in the eyes of some.

That is like asking, "If there was no miatiopian in the world, would it still be a colour?"

Green exists because green is part of the visible white light spectrum radiated from our sun and we humans (or most of us) are able to perceive green in our retinas and brains. If green were not in that spectrum, and the light coming down from the sun excluded green, the colors on earth would be very different indeed.

Yes, it would still be a colour. Reasoning: The only reason that we have green, purple and orange are because of our primary colours being mixed together.

Sure - assuming it existed somewhere in the universe, it'd still exist, whether or not we had ever seen it. We might not be able to see it, cos we wouldn't have evolved the capacity to recognise green presumably, having never encountered it. Presumably there are plenty of "colours" - light refractions of different wavelengths and so on - in the universe that we can't see, but who knows - over time, we might evolve the capacity to see Jupiterian Peule or Martian Fringopal - it's like blue...only not...:o)

Lets invent a colour called "Baz". Is "Baz" a colour?
No, because it doesn't exist. In your premise, Green would not exist either, thus would not be a colour.

Green doesn't actually exist. It's just a mix of blue and yellow.

No if there ain't no green there ain't no green. If someone says
"What color is that grass?" They would say, "I don't know but
it sure as hell ain't green cause there's no such thing."
