See your doctor. Exercise, get plenty of rest and make sure you eat right.

Wow. I'm a Scorpio also. I'm don't read too much into the signs, but I do think we Scorpios are a unique breed! I have felt like you in the past. Could've gone to get some anti-depressants, but I think people are prescribed them way too much and need to really try to deal with depression naturally before resorting to meds. So, having said that...I know exercising sucks but it really does wonders for your mental health and helps you think clearer and lifts your spirits. Go for a walk and take in the fresh air and beauty of nature. Also, are you genuinely depressed or depressed about something in particular? Talk your feeling out with a spouse or friend or sibling. It can help. Everyone gets the blues time to time, but if it's real bad then you should go see your family doctor. If it's your life in general you aren't happy with, you have the ability to make changes to it! Good Luck fellow scorpio and just remember Tomorrow is a new Day!

Many people are reccomending anti deprasiants. ANTI DEPRESAINTS ARE BAD, they are drugs. You can form a dependancy on them, which is very bad. Because what are you going to do when you want to get off them?

Try excersizing and eating a well balanced diet to start. Try to go see a therapise or find some one you can talk to. If you feel like there is no hope there are herbal alternivtives to anti depresiants that some times can be good for you

Otherwise B vitamins are said to increase your mood. They now market NAKED energy drinks, which are one hundred percent fruit juice. They taste great and after i drink one that is packed full of B vitamins i feel great. I really hope you and the millions of people can get past depression, it is truly a depressing thing. I hope i have helped.

I feel your pain my friend. I am a happily married woman with 2 beautiful girls, a nice home, good job, great extended family and nothing to be unhappy about. Yet.....I fall into depression very often and everything I loved to do before seems like takes to much energy to do then. One thing that has helped me is to try and stay positive and stay away from negative people. I think negativity is contagious and it can really bring you down. Start counting your blessings and know you are not alone. My guess is you are a wonderful person and I am confident you will climb out of this smiling again. I care.

Hi Shez. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. There is a lot of people in the world going through the same thing. Psychiatric help + medications like Zyprexa and Cymbalta work well. They let you cope with depression while you find the root of it. Other useful things: acupuncture, yoga, exercise, breathing exercises, sunlight, the beach. Depression is caused by and unbalance in the brain neurotrasmiters which are treated with meds. Above all, POSITIVE THINKING is the key. We can create our own reality. Thoughts are energy and energy turns into reality. Good luck!

Depression is really painful. I would strongly suggest getting on an anti-depressant. If you have had three bouts of depression, more likely than not you have a chemical imbalance. Trust me...anti-depressants work! It takes 6-8 weeks for the effects, so start on them sooner than later. Also, consider seeking therapy to address your tendency for depression. You are not alone and you will make it through this. Just keep asking for the help you need!

Try to get on some medication. I was depressed for a year before taking the medication. I was all about the natural way and not taking drugs. It was so bad I finally saw a psychiatrist and got on low dosage of meds. Apparently that is all I needed. I was on them for 6 months and now I don't need to be on them anymore. I also coupled it with therapy. It took me three times before I found one I like. So I encourage you to get some therapy and drugs to help you out of this. Sometimes are chemicals are just messed up and we need a little help. Hang in there :)

Please consider seeing a doctor and asking for a referral (if necessary) to a psychiatrist who can prescribe something for you. Just as its pointless to sit thru a headache these days when there is so much chemical assistance available, so it is true for depression.
In the mean time, don't drink alcohol, and get a good amount of vigorous exercise every day. That will help in the short run.
Good luck.

If you haven't seen a doctor, do. There is no reason to be depressed with all the medications out there today. You can make yourself physically ill by staying emotionally ill. See a doctor or at least call your local mental health center.

Depression is the worst! And people who never have suffered really can not understand how horrible it is.

If you have several recurrence of depression, you might be bi-polar....many people are misdiagnosed.

Go to your doctor...if not then try a therapist or shrink....get some help. There are several anti-depressants out there ...and they truly help

Stay strong! Your not alone....

No sh*t depression hurts. Depression sucks @ss. Get a shrink. Go to therapy. Don't put it off. Your depression won't get better by itself. I was in denial for a long time and ended up feeling like crap for a very long time. If you know you have a problem with depression, then get help. Good luck.
