She has my greatest respect and admiration for all She has done. I don't see any reason anyone should complain about Her role in the Christian Religion.

Well in the bible Jesus did put his earthly mom on a pedestal like humans do today He never talked about the virgin Mary so what gives We are suppose to worship God not a earthly women who was just a vessel to carry Jesus. I do not think she is doing anything for anyone she is dead like God said when you die you go back to the ground from which you were made. Please do not get upset i just answered the Q and this is my opinion, not a reflection of your opinion.

Mary as some has already said above, was just a vessel to carry the Son of God. She was nothing more, nor is it indicated in the Bible anywhere that one must pray to the saints or to Mary for that matter, concerning anything.
The only intercessor between man and God is Jesus, and only Jesus. To put anyone else before him, is to say that he is not good enough.

Mary is dead. She was nice and all, but she did not die for our sins. Honor Jesus, not a dead woman, unless you practice necromancy (talking to the dead), which God hates.

um...i'm not sure she'd want the name. It doesn't sound very attractive to me, anyway.
i'm glad she gave birth to my savior and all, but other than that...not much else to say.
i'll give her a thumbs up in heaven
