Kylie did something similar when she first moved here but she appears to have realised it made her sound ridiculous.

I expect it will be permanent with Madonna though. She is ridiculous.

Not a problem. Everyone's accent changes a little when they move to a new country. It's natural if she's around Brits all day, every day.

What new accent? To me she sounds like New York American speaking down her nose. She'll never master the English accent.

I think that she is trying to be something that she is not. If she wants to try to forget who she is and where she came from then fine let her carry on. I firmly believe that you can better yourself, but not by cahnging where you came from.
