Okay so I'm black, and I want a colored tattoo. Does color show up good on black people? Im brown skinned, like maybe tyra banks complexion, or maybe even a little lighter. Do you think a pink or red tattoo would show up? If not, would any colors show up?

I have a purple lily on my wrist! Color does show up but be careful of what color! usually lighter colors don't show up well or even at all! So red and maybe pink should be fine with you! I have like 3 tattoos so far and i'm gonna get more! Talk to your tattoo artist on what they think is best!

I think darker shades of colors will show up fine(yellows and very light colors will be very hard to see, red and pink should be fine). But the best way for you to know (since we can't see your skin) is for you to go to a few tattoo artists *in person* and ask. They will be able to give you a better answer and give you a good idea of how it will turn out. I work in a tattoo shop and that is best way to get your answer

I believe that it would show up and look nice. Before getting a tattoo with those colors talk with the tattoo artist first.

color does show up on dark skin but it's not going to be as vibrant of a color as if were to be one some light skinned. just go to the tattoo shop and ask an artist there to get a better idea on what they can do for you. good luck~!!

You need to talk to a tattoo artist. They would know what colors would show best, going from what product they use, and experiance.

talk to a tatto artist he will help. ( but remember ones you get it on you cant get it of ) except that it will take a lot of pain to get it on and off. main point its really but really bad for your skin its worse than a pearced tounge . trust me you will regret it and people will not respect you as much as they before.
you know the saying: your apearance shows who you are .

( well i tried )
