"Desperate" is not good! Boys can read "desperate" written all over you and it's not "flattering". Think about it for a minute, would you want a guy who seemed "desperate"? It would make you wonder what was wrong with him.
You don't need a boyfriend to have fun. Hang out with your friends, find new interests. Enjoy yourself, then when you least expect it, you'll meet someone.

You're not in the worst place!
Libraruies are often very erotic places, full of interesting people.
This is what you do.
Look and see if there is anyone that attracts you.
Then you make eye contyact with them. Then go up to them and say, "excuse me but don't I know you from somewhere?" etc.
Then say, "it's really hot in here, do you fancy going for a coke?"

Check out the paper for any single groups in your area. Desperate? You can always check out a book or two Romance novels or a self help book on ways to find romance. There should be something available.

walk around the whole library and scout out the cutest one and drop him a note within the book you like most and tell him that there's a page in there that he would really enjoy (make the note somewhat visible). on the note you can write your name and number and something like "im single and youre cute-call me."

If you are that desperate now is a really bad time to be looking for a boyfriend!
go home and build up your self confidance for a few months, then go looking.

Well start off by talking to someone who catches your eye. Just be careful, though if you're desperate you might have some issues you need to deal with before u get involved with someone. other wise you will attach yourself to an axe murderer

Find a cute one and go ask him some questions on the thing you are studying. thats a way to start talking to him,then tell him " i really need a break from studying.let me buy you a cup of coffee" and go to the nearest coffee shop to have some coffee
