Well as the chocolate and lilac are probably the most rare, I'd say they are the most expensive. I love these animals and was luckily to inherit one from a beloved aunt. I would never sell her though.

I don't think the colour is what factors the price. Moreso the bloodline and championship background of the parents. Some colors are less common than others - like my bi-color Black and White. But he wasn't expensive. In fact, I adopted him from a shelter because he was a stray that no one claimed. And since I'd recently lost a cat and they really wanted me have him I paid the big sum of $20 for him! Check shelters for Persians. People get too lazy to groom them and often dump them there. Just know they ARE a lot of work. Combing their coats must be done daily during shedding season and at least every two to three days the rest of the year. And though I believe NO cat belongs outdoors Persians especially don't. Their coats can easily become a tangle of dirt, grass and everything they come across.

White I think. But please don't go out and buy one. There are a lot of persian cats that are in need of homes. Just contact any persian cat rescue you can find on the web and they will work with you on adopting one that will suit your needs. I have 2 persian cats (both rescued this way) and they are just fabulous!

Most of the time, you are paying for lineage, not color, unless the color is extremely rare like cameos, torties or a true black.
