i bought one for my man; partly because he spent a fortune on mine and I wanted to get him something too, and party because I was marking my territory ;)
Hey, at least I'm honest :D

Most people said no, But i think that an engagment ring for a woman is a way to tell men: "leave this one alone"

I believe that if you (the to-be bride) would like to, you can get him a ring sortof to support the same principle. I can't imagine what would be wrong with it. I would wear one.

It doesn't really matter if men are meant to get one I think. Have you ever heard of a wedding with two best men? it happends if there are two guys who are very close to the groom.

It sounds like a good idea to me. Good luck!!

I've never seen a guy wear one and most men I know only wear their wedding ring (prob wouldn't wear that if they didn't have to :) However, you can get him one for him to wear on his right hand. Maybe something in platinum with a short inscription. I like the idea about a watch with an inscription but you know your finace better than any of us so get him what you think he'd like. Maybe casually mention the idea of a guy wearing an "engagment ring" and see what he says about it. Good Luck

No engagement ring. Maybe a nice watch or a chain or something but definitely not a ring.

Men do not wear engagement rings, but you can get him one. You just get it for the right hand not the left, I have one I love it it means so much. technically it is not an engagement ring but to me it is

absolutely NOT, but if you want to give them a promise ring - so all the other women out there can see hes TAKEN - thats more than ok, even a silver ring will so, or any ring on that finger, then swap uit wuith a plain gold band once you get married
