My in-laws have everything, So we have started getting them individual gift certificates to local buisnesses.
Like candy shop, gift shop, floral/craft shop, scrapbooking, western store, then when they go shop they can put it towards the purchase and that awesome product they love is because and from YOU!
If they like internet shopping, or don't get out, you can actually print the certificate off your printer and slide it in a card!

well, do not try and impress by spending big (cos that definitely won't impress)... in fact you should probably make the gift yourself (without being too corny). what is needed is something thoughtful with a little bit of tender loving care. e.g. u could take them to the most amazing place you've ever been and spend an unforgettbale moment with them that they will never forget. don't be embarassed about giving/sharing it with them... if its from the heart... he/she will love it. trust.

Or tickets to a concert to their favourite band/ theatre
A 'red letter day' gift. Maybe a health spa or something

i usally get my fiance something along these lines because he has everything! last year i bought him shares in playboy. haha.

Who are you buying for? If it is a boyfriend, get a professional picture taken and put it in a nice frame and give it to him. If it is your girlfriend, buy her a locket and put your picture in it!
