I find it very important in our relationship to hear the words I love you quite often throughout the day, but more importantly I would rather my partner show me how much he loves me by the little things he says and does for me. A man can tell me 100 times a day he loves me, but if he doesn't show me, his words mean nothing.

yes to hear, read, anything anyway they can say it...if they mean it..they should say it, i've always believed if a man starts off saying i love you like 20 times a day and a year later he barely says it at all..things have changed and he's probably cheating...so to me I LOVE YOU is a phrase i can't get enough of

Its not important how much they say it, but if they say it or not. Its something good to hear before you go to bed. And besides, if they were to die during the night I would regret not saying it to them beforehand.

I would like to hear it but it rarely happens. It bothered me for years that he wouldn't say it but he shows me he loves me in many ways.

A different man told me he loved me but did not show it. I'll take my husband's quiet ways.

His parents never said it but at least my husband says it to our children.

When I really needed to hear it was when I doubted his love. I don't doubt it anymore so I'm okay. And when I do want to hear it I look and say "Thanks honey, I love you too!" and we both laugh.

Yes it is important . and if you have to drag it out of him you feel it isn't worth hearing because it should be his feeling not your.Do you try saying it first?

It affect me, I like to hear the word. I dont know why maybe Im just too depress. And when you expect it to come and all you hear is silence... well....
