ok the person is making 10 bucks an hour working 40 hrs a week getting paid every 2 weeks so a total of hrs , there going married and 1 on there w2 form , and live in california

Go to the IRS website and search for Publication 15. I'm sure that there is a similar publication for California.

I usually estimate by subtracting a third of the total earnings. It is usually pretty close for me but it all depends on what you claim.

it depends on how much you make....take off the appropriate amount of tax....
