They say that its true, but can't prove any of it,

There is no proof that Jesus lived, or that he was actually more than any other human (probably a guy named Jesus)

I don't mind people believing in it, but what annoys me is that, they attempt to use it to answers other's problems when they have no proof what so ever.

If I write a text about a guy named Bob, and the amazing acts that Bob accomplished and buried it in the ground. If its dug up 2000 years from now, will people suddenly believe that that was true, and that Bob was the ruler and creator of the world?

also if the only reason you have for beliving in it is faith, then how can you possibly call people with different beliefs (what they have faith in) wrong. Sure some things actually happened but in my FICTIONAL book about Bob I could say that there will be a huge war in the world, and be right and I could be right about alot of other things if I used words and sentences that could be interpreted for many things some of which being right and some being wrong.

As for not proving it wrong (it will happen one day), even though I know many people won't accept it.

Just look at Evolution vs Creationism,

Evolution states a theory then backs it up with some proof, "look a this, we can see this evolving, natural selection etc."

Creationism states that God made us, and then backs it up with, "He says so, have faith, it just happened that way OK"

IMPORTANT: For people crying about te question please read the paragraph, stating that I have no problem with people believing in something.

I know this topic can make people mad, especially when their so called beliefs are being questioned, but your going to have to face it one day.

WOW...there definetly can't be a god, because there is no way that he would make so many people so dumb and ignorant (or would he?)....for the last time look at my example of Evolutionism, and Creationism science proves its theory with evidence, the bible proves its theory by stating "because I said so"

Also yes it may of been right about some things, but was wrong about many, many more, plus with the constant changing that goes on, it is obviously going to be corrected. I'd bet that 100 years from now, it will look different than it does today, which it shouldn't if it truly is from god

Oh here we go again....ok gorbalizer (or whatever your name is)

I stated that evidence is used to back up evolutions theory, unlike the bible it has no other evidence than itself...something can't be the claim and the proof. I never stated that the evolutionary theory is 100% fool-proof.

As for your information regarding amino acids, you need to do alot more homework before coming and attempting to challenge me. Did you know that humans and Banana's hold mostly the same chromosomes...thats right its only a small percentage that is needed in order to drastically change the end result.

You need to understand that science is constantly improving and has already done a service to us by making many people serious question the mythology that is religion. And whne technology improves enough it will finally end religion, and stop it in its tracks. However unfortunately I believe that people like you would rather burn down a science lab to protect your beliefs than to know the truth.

No reason, they're scared of death so they hold on to these ludicrous ideas and continue to delude themselves out of the any truth in the universe which is far more poetic and awe-inspiring than anything ever written in The Bible.

I am really ashamed of this- people can believe what they want to- so then tell me- how did the world come?? how were you ever made- Was it "the big boom?" NOOOOOO! It was God! And no if you write something about a man named bob that did something cool and buried- in 2000 years people will LAUGH at YOU! The Bible wasn't buried and found for your information. FYI- People were there at that time- they know the truth! And yes this is called faith! PURE AND TRUE FAITH! How could you ever write something like this on the computer- you know many people will be against you! Yea- there is PROOF that Jesus lived- The proof is the bible. How can somebody prove that you like someone- they read your journal of diary- how can somebody think of Jesus as being a Fake???????????? Yes there is proof! and i am sorry to tell you that you are not going to Heaven! I will pray for you though because the Bible says love your enemies- so that is what i will do! You either have what God has to give you or leave it! I would prefer taking it! Nobody has ever disproved the Bible either so how do you know it isn't real?? Tell me Straight- How do you know it isn't true?

What reasons do you have that are scientific for not believing it?

The Bible and it's message is designed to be accepted by faith. Nevertheless there are historical writings by Josephus (a historian) and other Historians that corroborate the New Testament record of events.
If you truly don't mind other people believing then go to another area and posts your questions and answers. If you truly want to examine the message of the Bible that is best done in a Bible class where the scriptures can be studied in CONTEXT which is very important.

If you wrote a story about Bob that was dug up 2000 years from now people would believe it if there was something TRUE about it. The birth, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus the Christ was foretold thousands of years BEFORE it happened, and there are historical non-Christian and Christian writings that bear witness to the accounts of the Bible.....but conclusive proof you will not get because "without faith it is impossible to please Him" Heb.11:6

You make a lot of spurious allegations with out any facts to back them up one example is "there is proof of evolution " 100% totally wrong there is not one shred of credible proof many attempts have been made and all of them turned out to frauds and hoaxes on the other habd there is overwhelming proof of creation look at Genetics and the human genome project look at the Biology , chemistry and neurosciences or even more basic of all the aminos comming togother just to form the next acid in the chain not even comming close to life is 100x10 to the 99th power the universe is so complex so well ordered it is totally impossible to be random chance the same is said of the human body and for your information there is more proof that Jesus exhisted than there is proof that you do hows that for starters you really need to do your homework or as confuscious said better to keep ones mouth closed and be considered stupid than to open it and remove all doubt so think before you engage mouth or page with utter nonsense Gorbalizer

The remarkable evidence of fulfilled prophecy is just one case in point. Hundreds of Bible prophecies have been fulfilled, specifically and meticulously, often long after the prophetic writer had passed away.
For example, Daniel the prophet predicted in about 538 BC (Daniel 9:24-27) that Christ would come as Israel's promised Savior and Prince 483 years after the Persian emperor would give the Jews authority to rebuild Jerusalem, which was then in ruins. This was clearly and definitely fulfilled, hundreds of years later.
There are extensive prophecies dealing with individual nations and cities and with the course of history in general, all of which have been literally fulfilled. More than 300 prophecies were fulfilled by Christ Himself at His first coming. Other prophecies deal with the spread of Christianity, as well as various false religions, and many other subjects.
There is no other book, ancient or modern, like this. The vague, and usually erroneous, prophecies of people like Jeanne Dixon, Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, and others like them are not in the same category at all, and neither are other religious books such as the Koran, the Confucian Analects, and similar religious writings. Only the Bible manifests this remarkable prophetic evidence, and it does so on such a tremendous scale as to render completely absurd any explanation other than divine revelation.

People want to have a religion, but they feel they need something that is truth and thus evidence that what they beleive is real and not a myth. So they beleive the bible and use it as their proof and they just cannot fathom anyone else beleiving something different or not believing at all.

That is how we pagans differ from the bible believers. We know our myths are just myths and we understand that religion is man's feeble attempt to explain the unexplainable. We are happy in our beliefs knowing this and we do not need to convert people because we understand that all spiritual paths lead to diety and is right for the beleiver.

I'm not in this world to prove anything to you, but I am in this world by God's grace, and love and compassion as well as his mercy.

You can either take what God has to offer you or leave it. The choice along with the consequences will also belong to you as well.

I am praying for you.
