im tryin to findout if a friend of mine is in jail were do i go on the nternet to get that info?

You can not access all jailers this way. Now prisons (and federal prisons) you can perform an offender search. If the subject is in a county jail you can search the jail name (of the jail) to see the feature is there.

If the inmate is in Connecticut, for example, type in the Department of corrections/Connecticut. Then type in inmates name. If the inmate is infact an inmate it will pop up. Or call the jail/prison you think the person is at and ask. It is public info.
