Look inside yourself on a mental, emotional, and spiritual level. There are a lot of different exercises and meditations you can utilize to do this. Seeking the Self is a life long process since we continually change our views as we get older due to our life experiences. But I have to admit that the older you get - the easier it gets. Or at least for me it has. I could be wrong though because some major life altering event could come along and change that.

If you really want to know who you really are, then the first thing to do is to reject what people think who you are, and look into your inner self and try to find out who you really are. If you look inside yourself and ask the Holy Spirit who dwells in every man to answer you and reveal to you who you are, you will get an answer which is contradicting to what the world think who you are. Believe the Holy Spirit, and try to let Him lead your life. If you really asked an honest question regarding your willing to know who you are, then I have really given you the answer.

Get older to gain a perspective and life experience. Put yourself in others shoes - like run for a local political office, drive a taxi, volunteer, public speaking, etc. See how other people interact with their environment, put a logic behind their behavior and compare it to your experience. See how others deal with stress and compare it to how you deal with the same stress.

You don't. Looking into the mirror doesn't have anything to do with living. You either learn about the world and beyond, or wonder if you should join a gang.

Experience--including trials and tribulations, mistakes and mishaps, and by learning from them. Sometimes we think we know ourselves until a challenge or tragedy comes along and reveals the truth to us.

Look to Jesus for a relationship and he'll expose the plan He has for your life. You were made for a special purpose, unique - there's no one like you and you will fulfill a special role in this life that no one else can fill. Even if it's to effect one life, it's your purpose. You go girl!! :)
