WHO WAS YOUR DOCTOR????? I cannot believe that all you are taking for this type of pain is glorified Tylenol and Motrin.
You need to be on something else. You also should be getting physical therapy for that finger.
I would call the doctor and tell him your concerns. You will never get rid of the depression if you are still in pain no matter what the antideppressant is. However, there are antideppressants that are used for pain, nerve pain that is.
One of them is an old drug called elavil. A newer one is cymbalta.
Go back to the doctor. It may be infected and you may need an antibiotic.
