I'll be honest, Ted Haggard is one of many 'church leaders' that I have taken issue with in the past.
There are those out there who listened to him, believed in him as their teacher.
Do you now look back and wonder how much of him was true and how much of him was a facade?

Ted Haggard is the leader of a mega church in CO. He is a vocal opponant of gay marraige.
A man came on a radio station claiming to have been paid to have sex with Haggard once a month for years.
Haggard has resigned, has admitted to buying meth, but says he didn't use (sounds like the 'I diidn't inhale' defense) and a naked massage by a male prostitute,

These events will have NO effect whatsoever on my faith. That's because I do not place my faith in Ted Haggard. Sadly, though, I believe there may be many who have placed their faith in him that will become disillusioned with Christianity and leave Christ because of the weakness of a man. Also, this is just one more in a list of too many Christian leadership scandals that give non Christians looking at us from the outside another reason to doubt the Savior of man because of the sin of a man. The Ted Haggards of the Christian world do far more damage than good for the cause of Christ.

Ted Haggard gave me more faith that you can't really trust anyone. And he's still lying! Threw the meth away... repeatedly... ya...

First of all i dont consider a human as my primary foundation for my faith in God.I try to be informed of God's will by His word and will listen to various ministers and if they get off track from the bible i consider them to be uninformed of God's will. So man is only to preach the word of God and thats it and its my responability to study the word of God,the bible,to see if what the minister is saying is the truth. Its really simple but many people put their focus on the minister and never study to really learn what God wants them to know. This is why there are so many different religous faiths people put their faith in sinful man and not God.Look at it this way, there is only one God He uses man to deliver His message they are not special to be put on a pestal !!

Brilliant!! Absolutely brilliant!! The total and absolute hypocrisy from the leader of the Evangelicals blown right into the sky with a vocal opponent of same-sex marriages and homosexuality not only being accused of paying for sex with a man. but also ADMITTING to buying methamphetamine (a popular drug in gay circles), however saying "I never used it".

Yeah, and Bill Clinton never inhaled but he shagged his intern tho!! HAHAHAHAHA!

PRICELESS !!

No one's conduct has anything to do with the faith that I have. It remains a very personal thing, not subject to the actions or behavior of another.

Whoever Ted Haggard is, you should put your trust in no man. Go with God and you can't loose.

Whatever...we all are sinners, why can't liberals admits their sins. Yet casting stones at religious people like Christians are the self righteous! Sin is sin, we all are sinners, Christians simply admit their failings, other rationalize their sins on others.
