My background is in Computer Science and SAP is more of business and pre-packaged software bundles related to business programming.. I might get a job in it.. so I will have to practice it a lot...But it is very uninteresting.. How do I start liking it? I like application programming but not business and commerce...Please help. Thanks.

Hi,
well, if you come from an application programming background, SAP is somewhat different. But with ABAP it offers you a great programming tool.
There are webpages like sapfans (www.sapfans.com) and IT toolbox, where you can discuss issues and solutions, ask questions and get help.
A good start for you might be to implement some games into a test SAP system, there are games like minsweeper, sudoku pacman and so on, just search for it and you'll get the code. Good fun and good possibility to acquire some ABAP knowledge.

Cheers
Markus
