Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

"Here is an easy recipe for roasting fresh pumpkin seeds."
Original recipe yield: 1 1/2 cups

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups raw whole pumpkin seeds
2 teaspoons butter, melted
1 pinch salt

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
Toss seeds in a bowl with the melted butter and salt. Spread the seeds in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown; stir occasionally.

Very simple.Remove seedes from the pumpkin and rinse them off well.Spread them out on a cookie sheet and sprinkle salt(preferably kosher salt) on top and place in the oven at 300 degrees and roast for about an hour.Allow to cool and enjoy

I make them every year. I wash them off in a strainer. Then I put them on a cookie sheet and sprinkle Johnny's Seasong Salt, Johnny's Garlic, and then Parmesean Cheese. (The kind in a can that you use for pasta and such) They turn out really well and they are always a HUGE hit at my house.

Best in an oven roasted with spices of your choice.
