Believe it or not...Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Close My Eyes" is our song. And yes we played it in the Church. We actually got married at the court house and had our wedding on our 1 year anniversary. It worked for us. It's a special song to both us from a time when we were apart because of his job and I was pregnant with our first child. We were both lonely and held on to every moment we got to spend together. I would definitely play it again. We also had one of my sister-in-laws sing "Amazed". I'd use that one again too. It's just a great song; so meaningful.

We had a few:
You Are My Sunshine (Leann Rhimes) for the recessional - I would choose it again because it was my mom's wedding song as well
From This Moment (Shania Twain) for the First Dance - I might use something different now, 7 years ago, that was my favorite song, but lots of great songs have come out since then

When I bought married 10 years in the past my marriage ceremony track was once "Because You Loved Me" by way of Celine Dion. It's from the film "Up Close And Personal" starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert Redford. I'm not married ,I've been divorced for four years, however I nonetheless like that track. Have A Merry Christmas!!

Our song -our first dance was to Always And Forever by Heatwave! We also had a hard time deciding between that one and Good Morning Beautiful by Steve Holy so we used Steve's song to walk down the aisle too.

You are my Shining Star
By: The Jerry Garcia Band
My husband sings this to me all the time. There is no other song out there that will ever replace it! So yes we would choose it again! :)
