What is your impression of god in moder day terms?

Question

i am a christian and i fully belive in god heaven and everything the bible teaches. i sometimes picture what jesus would look like in a modern sense... what about you? I THINK that he would have a slight emo look. christian band t-shirts lik edead poetic, project 86 demon hunter somethign like that. semi tight pants. play guitar, black hair. and wear chucks. and instead of a car or donkey he would sk8 everywhere....
i am in no way bashing the christian faith or the look of jesus. i am not demeaning the bible or jesus in any way here.... just curious

thank you all for not getting upset at this question... i do know he will be dressed in white on a horse from the sky. i knwo he will nto lookt liek a modern rocker but its a fun thought! i like most of these answers!

For myself, I see God in everything I look upon. I am a Christian but I do not totally hold with the ideas of Heaven and Hell. When you look around; then you have to believe someone is responsible for creating all we have on Earth; that said I believe in a sort of Creationism Evolution cross. I think there is a good basis for Evolution in science - but who lit the spark that started the Evolutionary engines?

Jesus was very much the Rock Star of his time and that is the reason the Romans and Jews wanted to kill him; he made people believe they were free and he gave them hope and salvation not just reserved for rich people who gave a lot of money to the temples.

If you believe what the bible says, he will be clothed in white!!! As far as what he looks like as in his body, I dont know but I cant wait to find out!!! He will supposely be riding a white horse when he comes back and so will all the angels. That is what the book of Revelation says. Jesus will be back soon, so we will find out!! i think you are in the minority of thought in picturing Jesus in modern day clothing!

have you ever seen the Jesus Inspirational Sports figurines? He plays basketball and football and dances...all in sandals and white nightgowny shift.

...personally, when i want to know what jesus looks like, i look at the picture on the wall in the hall outside my bedroom. if you are not satisfied, then you should try to picture in your mind complete and utter perfection. and i can definitely see alot of people getting pissed off at your opinion, so tread carefully.

my jesus still wears sandals, but i suppose if he were to come here, he would have to blend in more. so im guessing jeans and t shirt. maybe thats why he has not come back yet, fashion sucks right now. lol. kidding.:)
