I went out with this guy for a month and a half but we seperated mutually due to lack of time to spend with eachother. We still kept in touch though but now when we talk, I feel as if I don't know what to say...like I miss what we had but I don't know how to get it back! What should I do?

You have to talk with him and tell him exactly how you feel..he probably feels the same way.

A whole month and a half eh? Wow, it must have been quite a test to work out that you didn't spend enough time together.

You are obviously like 12 or something.

Wait, stop fretting about it. Things have a knack of happening.

i split 5 months ago and we still talk. split because he jumped through hoops for work and basically lived to work!! mutual break up. Although i still think we shoud be together i've had to accept he just doesnt have time in his life for a relationship other than with work. Sad but life. Stay friends but move on.

You both have to really put effort into being with each other. If you don't have the time to give each other than it won't work out. Move on and start to see other people so that you both can keep your minds off of each other.

awkward silence at a most awkward time.

why not talk about what happened when you were apart?

or maybe talk about stuff from before, like when you were dating.

I think you are trying too hard to "talk" if you know what I mean.

Relax and just chat about nothing.

Take time apart, completely, no phone conversations or anything. If you can do this for a month or so, with no problems, you've moved on, if not, confront him about it, maybe he feels the same way...

Well, you would miss him, but frankly speaking.. all ou can do is forget that and focus on being just his friend. Ask him stuff that friends would ask. I went through the same thing, and now.. one of my ex's is one of my best friends.

I wish you good luck.

wonderful time went away, grey days remain... you can't get back what have gone. it is in the past. don't cry for it... just let him go and start a new life.

Tell him what you've been doing. Discuss current news events. Ask him what he's been doing and feeling.
