Pisa is very small, once you have done the tower bit there is really nothing else there. I love Amsterdam at this time of year, very romantic wandering along the canals in the Autum sunshine, great little outdoor markets, good museums, lovely friendly people. I lived there for 3 years and this was always my favorite time of year, tourists have gone home and the city is peaceful again. have fun but give Pisa a miss!

Venice (Venezia) actually wants number introduction, see ways to get there with hotelbye . That city has been a fabled destination for centuries. Just the name Venice is enough to conjure up a host of photos, even for people who have not yet collection foot in Italy. From gondoliers in striped tops to the Rialto and the Bridge of Sighs, masked balls, golden barges, courtesans in gondolas and failing palaces experiencing roads manufactured from water Venice is an incredible city. After the only real link throughout the Grand Canal, Rialto Bridge scars the location of the island's first settlement, called Rivus Altus and is now one of the plenty of place that Venice must offer.

Get back time and again and you however won't see all of it, this is exactly what could happen for you if spent your vacation in Florence; with hotelbye you may find out more. Remarkably little as it is, this riverside town looms big on the world's'must-sees'list. Cradle of the Renaissance and of tourist masses that head here to party on world-class art, Florence is just a magnetic, passionate and active city. The Piazzale Michelangelo (The Michelangelo Square) is one of many places you should see in Florence. This square is really a large, partially pedestrian zed square located throughout the Arno River from the heart of Florence. From the square visitors have a spectacular see on the city. The huge square was laid out in 1860 by Giuseppe Poggi, a local architect who's also known for his generation of boulevards across the centre of Florence. Based at the center of the city's principal market region, the Basilica di San Lorenzo is one of many oldest churches of Florence and was the burial place of all principal members of the Medici family. Do not delay! Florence and its superb treasures await your visit!

I like Pisa. It is small and the main attraction is the tower but there are also nice little cafes, quiet side streets, quaint restaurants...If you've never been to Italy it might not be my first suggestion but it is worth a visit.

Pisa is a tourist trap. I'd suggest Venice, Siena or Florence instead.

Pisa's a toilet. Go to Venice or Sienna instead. Avoid Florence too as it's tourist central.

There's not much there, compared to so many other European cities...Paris, Rome, Florence, Amsterdam, Prague, Barcelona, Berlin...and these are just ones that I know about, and liked more than Pisa!

montacatini terme, similar aspect, you fly low-cost from liverpool to pisa and then about 50 minutes stress in to the middle of italy, large nutrients and also issues to work out like roman spa's and so on... we bypass each and every 3 hundred and sixty 5 days!
