I sudied the art of hypnosis. The kind taught at major universities, not the kind used for stage tricks. I got good, not as good as Milton Erickson, but he is my hero, rest his soul. I use the techniques on my dates with good success (many people are not good subjects). Am I wrong to do this? Hypnosis is really nothing more than knowing how to make effective suggestions.

Yes, I used it in college to improve my grades and it really helped. Most people will not do things they really don't want to do under hypnosis.
