I'm a bit of a gamer myself and knew about this (that the fiance likes video games/mmorpgs) at the beginning of the relationship, but I'm turning into a classic "Warcrack Widow"! I've always had somewhat of a high sex drive compared to some women I guess, and I have mentioned to him on several occasions that I'm not entirely happy with our sex life.

How have you dealt with it? What did you do to get it to change? When is it time to just throw my hands up and say enough is enough? Sex isn't everything, I know, but the infrequency is getting a little out of hand.

I wish I was kidding, but I'm not. Last night I tried to jump him when he got home from work and all I got was a hug and a kiss then a "Where's my strategy guide?"

As a long time gamer, there's a line that, when crossed, tells you and the world that he's not just a power-gamer but an addict. to me, that line is when being online is more important than your relationship.

I've always put my relationships and obligations above gaming - which is why I'm still married after 16 years with a wife who is NOT nearly as much of a gamer as I am.

Tell your man to either get offline ONCE IN A WHILE or risk losing you - if the "risk losing you" part doesn't get his attention, start looking to upgrade ;-)

been there.. damn that WoW.
I got lucky (kind of) and he had to cancel his account, but now he's on consoles. Well with the new patch your man may drop the WoW for a while because well.. they're killing the game.
ANYWAYS most men with a big MMORPGs went through sometime of hermitage or of not having someone there demanding their time.. so it's a slower progress. if the only problem is with sex, you're lucky ive heard and was one for a short time that couldnt get ANYTHING including him barely going out.

If it's mostly a sex thing you can try this (it worked for me and a friend of mine) give him oral WHILE he's playign, but dont finish him off, and then tell him that it's time to go. My man left a raid to come finish :) then of course talk to him.

i think it would be like any addiction where you have to ween them off of it

try walking around doing a slow sultry striptease when he's playing, just stay on the edge of his field of view so he knows your there and it will be a slight distraction.if you do it just right it will build in his mind until all his attention is on you and not the game.when he can't stand it anymore and leaves the game to be with you.then you cut the deal with him so much game time each week and so much you time..each week increase the you time by a little and decrease the game time a little...no sex until he agrees to the terms...he can't last forever without it he will eventually cave.

I agree with everyone that said to do it while hes playing. after a certain point he should want to stop and totaly focus on you. Tell him how much time you need for sex a day and have him schedule it around his gaming - say i need 20 min or whatever, and if he cant give you that is it really worth it. whats more important a game or you? seriously.

i would hide the game if i were you and dress like a naughty school girl. crawl over his lap and tell him you've been a bad girl. you know the rest. or something along those lines. really you should probably tie him to a chair and ride him and then be like thaanks and act like nothing unusual happened. that's what i'd do at least.

I think you should be glad that he's within your sight and not playing video games at someone eles' house. My boyfriend is a Madden Fantatic. I let him play his games and I find something eles to do. It's a stress releif for him and when he's ready he'll come arounf. But again, I think you should be glad that's he's within your sight.
