the only thing that helps is antihistamines. take a non-drowsy benadryl, or a generic version, an hour or two before you head over there.

best of luck

regrettably you need to decide for between the cat or the bf. A sphinx cat isn't hypo-allergenic. it must be greater tolerable via some persons yet many are nevertheless allergic to this breed. do no longer purchase one thinking that this might resolve the situation. docs, a minimum of respected ones, won't do hypersensitive reaction photos for cats. photos are by and massive for grasses, trees, weeds, mildew - no longer animals or ingredients. Taking drugs could decrease indicators, yet while your bf hypersensitive reactions are very undesirable he will nevertheless fall ill around the cat - basically no longer as badly. Spraying Febreeze isn't sensible. you will possibly frequently ought to spray the bedding, textile, carpets, sofas, and so forth. this is quite time ingesting and severe priced. Plus there is not any assure or shown learn that it will quit your bf hypersensitive reactions. additionally, human beings could nicely be allergic to the factors in those room fresheners.

I am highly allergic to cats, among other things. I am on perscription allergy medicine. i am fine around cats as long as i don't have to pet them or have them in my face... once the cat hair gets on my face i am a mess. I wash my hands alot at that persons house. And I also tell thme before i come over that i am allergic and ask them to vaccum. It helps having the place just vaccumed . If they care enough to have you over they want you to be comfortable. I don't feel weird asking- i'd love to, but the cats are an issue can you vaccum before we get there, i'd be able to stay longer. noone has had a problem thus far, and repeat friends do it automatically

There are allergy pills you can take before you go over there to prevent these sneezing attacks - I think they are called Zertec? If you go see an allergy doctor or even your primary doctor, they should be able to help you with that - or you can just take like Benadryl, I don't think it works as well but it is easier to find and much less expensive, but there I know there are medications for that type of allergy.

Try a good antihistimine medication like Claritin. The generic version is much cheaper and just as effective ~ look for "Loratadine 10mg" tablets. Wal-Mart has them, made by Equate.

Only thing that will help you is getting on allergy shots.

And have your sister buy and use air purifiers in her house. One air purifier per 900 square feet.

Or poison the cat, with rat poison, just kidding, that is not really a rational idea.
